I had the pleasure of attending Katrina’s workshop and the content was exceptional. I found it to be extremely appropriate, needed and the perfect balance of head and heart. The information is relevant and beneficial for everyone and is made up of lessons we should all know and practice both in life and in the workplace. I can’t recommend this enough!
— Business Development Manager, Hobsons Bay City Council
What Katrina shares is necessary and absolutely transformational. Not feeling alone in our grief is so important to healing, Katrina created a beautiful space that was safe for us to have these conversations. I will continue using the tools shared moving forward in my own journey.
— Participant, Moments That Matter Event

Starting as the first appointed ambassador for Child Bereavement UK back in 2015, Katrina naturally progressed to become founder of Grief Talks Education and is regularly termed the ‘grief-girl’ for her community contributions and awareness efforts. From working with primary school aged children to sharing knowledge with business leaders and their teams, her ability to break down barriers and adapt to a variety of audiences allows her to create spaces of vulnerability, connection and most of all, hope.

Alongside grief, Katrina’s work has now extended to speaking on topics such as communication, leadership, mental wellbeing and parenthood. Her desire to create sustainable change has led her to build strong partnerships with local councils and not for profits, resulting in her long-term facilitation of community programs in partnership with Western Bulldogs Football Club.

If you work with Katrina, don’t expect her to turn up with a serious expression or wearing black. A bubbly, colourful human who embodies the message of her work (and that of Albus Dumbledore)…”happiness can be found in the darkest of places, if one only remembers to turn on the light”.

Katrina’s superpower? Gentle warmth, heart-led (and a little bit quirky) storyteller. Leaving people with a knowing that they aren’t alone.
