Volunteer - Be part of the Change

We want to take this opportunity to formally recognise the tireless and selfless efforts and commitment of the amazing , compassionate and inspirational people who volunteer their time, services and expertise to Mindfull Aus and it's mission to create resilient, well, healthy and happy communities.

We hope that people feel very much part of the family at Mindfull Aus, we are so very grateful for each and every person who share in our events, fundraisers, workshops, programs and everything in between.

"The best part about this journey for me is the amazing people I meet, learn from but most importantly get to sit and watch them love everyone for who they truly are. No one was ever meant to go this journey alone and it's beautiful to see the value so many hold for others" Matt Runnalls - CEO Mindfull Aus

Volunteers are an important part of Mindfull Aus and are at the very core of helping support meaningful conversations on these beautiful, but sometimes difficult edges of love and life. To become a volunteer at Mindfull Aus it is not always imperative to be qualified or experience in mental health – we look for people who have compassion for those experiencing mental ill-health and the time to give to make a difference in the lives of those in their community.

Benefits of being involved with Mindfull Aus-

  • developing an understanding of mind & behavioural health

  • making a difference to the lives of those in your community

  • helping to reduce stigma around mental illness and suicide.

  • fostering a sense of self-worth and belonging

  • connection with like-minded compassionate individuals

  • gaining valuable skills and life tools

  • joining in on lots of fun

Mindfull Aus offers volunteers the opportunity to further their involvement with the organisation by being facilitators, speakers, trainers and staff within our administration.
At the end of the day it’s not about what you have or even what you’ve accomplished… it’s about who you’ve lifted up, who you’ve made better. It’s about what you’ve given back

Even if it is just one event, that one event you changed lives, you turned the conversation of mental health in a positive direction!

Thank you to all our beautiful and meaningful volunteers and we hope that we continue to do this alongside you for many events to come!
